Charatan’s Make Lane Era Special Smooth Dublin (490)

A large Dublin from Charatan’s Lane era. My estimate is mid sixties. Has the original stem but has no nomenclature which was often a factory oversight, especially in pipes destined for the European market.
This is a Grade C restoration for the following reasons. It had heavy teeth marks that were removed but some small marks remain around the bite zone. A restoration had been attempted before I acquired the pipe that had changed the profile of the stem saddle. Therefore is it not perfectly aligned. However, this is stil a great example of a 60’s smooth Charaton.
